A couple of days before our first maternity session, I started panicking. I wasn’t sleeping well due to a nightmare I had that the location I had chosen for the session was too steep and treacherous, and the mom-to-be lost her footing and fell. Lovely, huh? Thankfully, I was able to consult with other photographers in the area for suitable locations, and I’m ever so grateful for their advice.

I had a bad case of the nerves. I’d never had a ‘baby bump’ session myself, so I had no experience to pull from. I decided that I needed to just focus on shooting this session as I would any other session… focus on capturing personality, focus on the couple’s relationship, and create photos that this couple would be proud to show their future daughter 5, 10, 15 years from now.

Devin and Scott, thank you for your trust and for sharing this beautiful moment in your life with us. I hope we make your daughter proud when she sees just how how much her mother and father loved her and each other.

I’m so excited to share these that I don’t even know what to say here. Tony and Kristina, if this engagement session is any indication of what’s to come on your wedding day, well….let’s just say I know it’s going to be amazing!! I can’t wait!

If you’re not getting your produce from Washington Produce, you’re not only missing out on great deals on produce, but you’re also missing out on knowing Kristina and Tony, who run the produce wholesaler located in Redlands.  I love going in every other week or so to pick up my fresh goodies (that I’ve conveniently ordered over the internet, I might add) and feel like I’m visiting friends.  I was so impressed when after only visiting the store twice, Kristina greeted me by my name!  That is why we love going there.

When Kristina contacted me about being her wedding photographer, I was elated! I appreciate the small, local businesses banding together and supporting one another, but I was even more thrilled because I feel like I’m photographing friends.  Sam and I hooked up with Kristina and Tony for an engagement session and I have to tell you, I didn’t want the evening to end, but we ran out of light.
