Riverside Art Museum | Elizabeth and Lou Wedding

Elizabeth arrived from the hair dresser, veil in place, phone pressed against her ear and ready to go! I met her at her friends’ house, but I felt like I had traveled across the globe to Italy.  The Tuscan inspired home was surrounded by olive trees while exquisite tile mosaics adorned the walls. It was the perfect backdrop for the Elizabeth and her party to prepare for this very special day!  The wine was flowing as freely as the many fountains on the property, helping to soothe the nervous energy, no doubt.  Elizabeth was simply breathtaking.

The home owners were so gracious to allow me to have free reign in their stellar home, and I couldn’t resist using the impressive wine display as backdrop to Elizabeth’s gown by Jim Hjelm and shoes by Stewart Weitzman.

While I was with Elizabeth, Sam was taking care of the groom and groomsmen… all looking rather dashing, of course!

The reception was held at the Riverside Art Museum.  This historic building has some amazing architectural features, including an atrium where the bride and groom cut their wedding cake.   Speaking of wedding cake, this gorgeous cake was created by Elizabeth’s aunt!  Petals on 6th provided the lovely flowers and arrangements, which included dogwood and peonies. Of course, I would be remiss if I failed to mention Michelle and her assistant, Alexandra, from Elegant Events.  It was such a pleasure working with friendly professionals, and these two ladies kept everything running smoothly, not to mention all the special attention they put into the details! I love the details! And one last note of thanks to Sierra LaPoint for all her help with the lighting during the bride and groom portraits! I couldn’t have done it without her. If you’re interested in booking an event at the Riverside Art Museum, she is the person to contact.  You will not be disappointed!

There are so many more pictures to share, but this post is epic enough already! Sorry, no slideshow just yet.  Saving that first screening for the bride and groom, but as soon as they see it, we will share it here, too.

PS.. Much love to you both, Elizabeth and Lou! Sam and I wish you a lifetime of happiness together….
