Even though it IS April 1st, and I usually DO hide an oversized plastic spider on the cereal box for some unsuspecting, half-asleep child to stumble across, I did not bring, nor did I invite this creature into my home to help me with my tomfoolery. Every so often, one of these things is discovered dead behind a book case, or in the corner when I move the plant to vacuum, but this thing..shivers..this thing was real and alive and MOVING and trying to kill my family with those pincers! I swear. I’m totally not exaggerating!
See how the creature is kinda blurry? Its because he was MOVING! He was trying to attack me.
We sucked it up with the vacuum and he clogged the darned thing! I kid you not!
I do not do well with the creepy crawlies….and I promise to never scare my kids with the plastic versions again. I think I’ll go for something much tamer, like making my kids eat their green beans, instead.
