The Hawaiian sun was kissing the ocean when she first told him she loved him. “Dropped the L-bomb,” as she put it. A few years later, in that exact same location, with the sun setting behind them, and after a desperate search for a willing passerby to capture the moment with the brand new camera he purchased just for this occasion, he bent down on one knee and proposed to her. In that very same spot in Hawaii. That’s how much her love meant to him.
And that is the type of love story that makes my heart swell to near bursting!
Sam and I met Marly and Justin during the Paulus Family Fun Session and immediately took a liking to them. When they mentioned they were getting married in just a few weeks without having done an engagement session, Sam and I took it upon ourselves to fix that. And while we are not able to join them in St. Lucia this week to photograph their wedding, we will be there capturing the reception when they return. We wish Marly and Justin a safe journey tomorrow on their way to their destination dream wedding and many, many years of wedded bliss!
Ho’omaika’i, which means congratulations in Hawaiian…

Also, just a quick note that we are completely booked for weddings in April. Its an honor for us to be a part of your special day and we thank you kindly! We still have space available for May.
