Our original photo shoot was postponed due to ugly weather and man, am I glad that Mendy trusted my judgement to wait for better light!  Mendy wanted to capture her kids together and celebrate her oldest son’s amazing recovery from a horrific accident that broke his back, almost claiming his life.  What a remarkable, handsome young man…I can only imagine how hard he’s worked and continues to work on his recovery while reclaiming his life.  I absolutely loved shooting this trio of playful siblings, especially the younger two, who were in a constant battle of jabs and punches and grappling, with little sis clearly holding her own.  And in spite of my painfully obvious and ridiculous un-coolness in the presence of these great kids, they did smile and laugh at my corny jokes.  So, thanks for putting up with me, Siems Siblings.  Your pictures are amazing and your story of perseverance even more so!
