I have this passion for 999 Happy Haunts living in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. It’s true. You didn’t know?

Last week, the Haunted Mansion celebrated it’s 40th Anniversary and Doombuggies.com joined in the fun by having a Bridal Bash. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with great food, amazing music, and two very talented and personable artists, Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily, who created many of my favorite Haunted Mansion collectibles. But the best part of all, truly, was meeting some of the wonderful members of Doombuggies.com, many of whom traveled from all over the US and even across the Atlantic to be a part of the festivities.
When the staff of doombuggies was planning the event, the idea of a photo op was suggested and I was all too eager to help out even though I had never done anything like this before. I have to give props to Scott who provided the spooky backdrop. I had a blast with this event and I’m thrilled with the results. If you’re a member of doombuggies.com looking for your picture, click on the Client Proofs tab and find your picture under the Bridal Bash file. The files are big, so you might have to be a bit patient with the download depending on your internet speed. If you have any questions about your picture or need extra help, just send me an email to carrie@carrievinesphotography.com or give me a call 909-499-1701.
Here are a few of my favs….

This group was so much fun to play with, and even though Ste3ve is a little blurry (sorry), I just adore the playfulness of it!

Yours truly with Kevin and Jody! Oh yeah!

The band Windows to Sky (or part of them, some members couldn’t make it) were INCREDIBLE!! If you’re in Southern California, you need to see this band play live. Their next live show is this Friday, Sept. 18 in Culver City. Details on their website. Check them out. Really.

Here are some more shots from the event itself. My camera was pretty much docked on a tripod the whole time, but I did manage to sneak in a few.

and of course, Sam rocked it as usual….

Here’s Kevin, peeking thru the arms of a very infamous ghost….

yep, that is the Hat Box Ghost, an icon of the Haunted Mansion. We got a preview before his debut at the the D23 expo!
