Back in April, Sam and I had the pleasure of shooting our first wedding! We couldn’t have asked for a better couple, Jaymi and Robert. This fun bride and groom had a theme wedding in Las Vegas and were married by Elvis, uh-huh…*swivels hips*
Did you hear that? That was the sound of my hips creaking! Guess my hips don’t swivel they way they used to…
Anywaaaay, Jaymi and Robert agreed to setting some time aside on their big day for some relaxed portraits in the Tropicana Garden and the Bellagio Fountains. We call it the ‘First Look’ and more and more brides and grooms are choosing this option, which makes me quite happy, since it allows the couple to spend some time together before the ceremony, relax, and take a moment and a breath or two. It also makes for some wonderful pictures..
Love the expression captured during the first look…

We made our way to the Fountains of Bellagio, as it had special meaning and memories for the bride and groom.

Back at the Tropicana, we waited in the valet for Elvis and his pink cadillac. He was quite the show stopper and his car was just yummy! I had the pleasure of riding along with the bride and groom with Elvis on the way to the chapel. This was the best 20 minutes of the day and something I will never forget. I was so thrilled that Jaymi and Robert asked me to join them…

I just love that Jaymi and Robert dedicated several hours of their wedding day for fun photography! I adore this couple and will share more from their wedding ceremony and reception in my next post.
